- Is there really a free trial?
- Yes — 30 days, completely free, and no card is required to start. Sign up, add your company details and send your first invoice today.
- What happens after the trial?
- If Origami Finance is working for you, you continue for R99 per month, billed securely through PayFast. If it is not, simply do not subscribe — nothing is charged automatically without your say-so.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Any time. When you cancel you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then it stops. No lock-in, no cancellation fees.
- Do you handle VAT correctly?
- Yes. VAT is calculated at the South African standard rate of 15%, per line and overall, exclusive and inclusive — so your invoices are valid and your VAT returns reconcile.
- How do payments work?
- Subscriptions are handled by PayFast, a South African payment gateway, so you can pay by card or EFT. We never see or store your card details.
- Is my data safe?
- Your business and client data lives in a secure, access-controlled database, handled in line with POPIA. Only you can see your account.
